Bárbara is an associate in Alessandri’s Compliance Area. She studied at Universidad de los Andes. She has a diploma in International Economic Law from the University of Chile (2023) and is currently completing another diploma in Corporate Governance and Compliance at University of Chile (2024)
As an associate of the Compliance Areas, represent clients in areas of prevention, personal protection, and cybersecurity. Provides advice on the evaluation of legal risks, performance of due diligence, as well as the design, adjustment, and implementation of risk prevention models.
In previous experiences, she worked as an attorney specialized in the criminal area, particularly in cases related to economic crimes, developing solid defense strategies. She represented clients in a variety of cases related to financial fraud, money laundering, corporate corruption, among other crimes.
