/ Alessandri Begins Pro Bono Advisory Work on Personal Data for Fundación Iguales
July 6, 2026A breakfast meeting held at the offices of Alessandri marked the start of the pro bono advisory work on personal data.
Fundación Iguales is a pro bono client of Alessandri, and as part of this collaboration, the firm is working with the foundation on matters related to the management and protection of sensitive data belonging to highly vulnerable individuals, as well as its regulatory compliance program.
During the breakfast, attendees reviewed the progress made to date, exchanged experiences, and evaluated new opportunities to strengthen the tools and processes that support the foundation’s work.
Representing Fundación Iguales were María José Cumplido, executive director; Constanza Cánepa, legal director; Javiera García, project director at Factor Diverso; and Emilio Maldonado, general director of Factor Diverso. Representing Alessandri were partners Carla Illanes and Rodrigo Velasco; Álvaro Ávila, Pro Bono Coordinator; and attorneys Sebastián Díaz-Muñoz and Cristina Valenzuela, members of the team working on the foundation’s data protection and regulatory compliance project.
