/ Alessandri Advises Fundación Iguales on the Development of ActuaApp to Combat Discrimination

Alessandri Abogados advised Fundación Iguales on the creation of ActuaApp, a tool that allows users to report acts of discrimination and access guidance and support. This initiative strengthens the protection of the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community in the Biobío region.

Alessandri Abogados provided pro bono advice to Fundación Iguales in the development of ActuaApp, a web application designed to enable members of the LGBTIQ+ community to report incidents of discrimination in the Biobío region.

ActuaApp allows people to report incidents they have witnessed or suffered, which are forwarded directly to the Public Prosecutor’s Office. In addition, the platform offers support, assistance, and guidance tools to deal with discriminatory acts, making it a fundamental resource for guaranteeing access to justice and the protection of rights.

The Alessandri team reviewed the application’s flow and drafted the terms and conditions of use, as well as the privacy policy. It ensured regulatory compliance and the protection of personal data. It also participated in the implementation and launch of the tool.
