/ Presidential advisor on cybersecurity gathers with the chief of state of Estonia and members of the cybersecurity industry

With the visit of the president of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid and her cybersecurity advisor Merle Maigre, our presidential cybersecurity advisor Mario Farren carried out a meeting with the industry of cybersecurity in Chile, with the objective of sharing the experience of Estonia with the industry.

This meeting was held in the Patrimonial Hall of La Moneda Palace and was assisted by Carlos Landeros, director of the government CSIRT; Juan Pablo González, legal representative of the Cybersecurity Coordination Unit; Catherine Narváez, advisor of the Cybersecurity Coordination Unit; members of the Chilean Cybersecurity Alliance; and senior attorney of Alessandri, Macarena Gatica Lira, among others.

Moreover, during the governor’s visit, Chile and Estonia entered into an agreement of bilateral collaboration on cybersecurity and cyberspace, which will enable the acceleration of State and Digital Government modernization.
