In an alliance with the Media Agencies Association (AAM), Alessandri organized a series of talks with the aim of raising awareness of the new data protection law.

More than one hundred attendees, invited by members of AAM, attended the eight breakfasts that Alessandri organized to publicize the scope of the Personal Data Bill, which is currently in Congress with urgency.

Rodrigo Velasco Alessandri, Macarena Gatica and Sebastián Molina gave a presentation on the bill and how companies should be prepared to face the demands that it will bring once it becomes law. We also provided recommendations and showed practical cases.

“Prevention measures must be applied before the law comes into force, to avoid possible fines and penalties for companies,” explains Macarena Gatica, Alessandri’s senior associate and who leads this area of ​​practice at the firm.
