/ Chambers and Partners 2026 recognizes Alessandri in Band 1
August 21, 2025The English guide Chambers and Partners published its 2026 edition, in which Alessandri Abogados reaffirms its position as one of the leading law firms in Chile. This year, Alessandri received recognition in five key areas: Capital Markets, Corporate/M&A, Intellectual Property, TMT (Telecommunications, Media and Technology) and Data Protection, the latter being included for the first time in this edition.
The Chambers selection process, carried out by more than 200 analysts, includes interviews with clients and lawyers, allowing the most outstanding professionals in the legal field to be identified.
In this edition, five Alessandri attorneys were recognized for their track record and excellence. Rodrigo Velasco Alessandri was promoted to Band 1 in Intellectual Property, while Santiago Ortúzar maintained his position in Band 3. Macarena Gatica, who was listed in Band 2 in TMT in 2025, was highlighted in Band 1 in the new category of Data Protection, reflecting her specialization in this emerging area. Jaime Urzúa received double recognition: as Star Associate in TMT and as Associate to Watch in Data Protection. In Capital Markets, Felipe Cousiño retained his position in Band 2.
