/ Alessandri Advises Fundación Antenna on Protecting Its Trademarks

December 18, 2025

Alessandri Abogados assists Fundación Antenna in managing and protecting its trademarks. This work allows its cultural projects to have distinctive signs that protect their identity and reinforce their presence in the artistic sphere.

Alessandri Abogados provides pro bono advice to Fundación Antenna, a Chilean non-profit organization that promotes art and culture. Since 2015, Antenna has been promoting a community that encourages access to and appreciation of the arts in different sectors of society. Through projects and strategic alliances, the Foundation strengthens culture in Chile and establishes links at the national and international levels.

This year, the Alessandri team supported the Foundation in the management of its trademarks. The objective was to ensure that each cultural initiative has distinctive signs that protect its identity and the services it offers. This work allowed Antenna to strengthen its credibility and ensure the sustainability of its projects vis-à-vis third parties.

The advisory services included the protection of trademarks linked to flagship projects, such as “Murales para Chile” (Murals for Chile), which seeks to strengthen identity and a sense of belonging in educational communities through urban muralism; “Premio PAM,” which recognizes and highlights the work of women visual artists; and “Extrasolar,” a digital creation contest that invites Chilean artists and creators aged 14 and older to imagine planets beyond the solar system.

Álvaro Ávila, associate lawyer and pro bono coordinator at Alessandri, highlighted: “Our work with Fundación Antenna reflects the importance of protecting cultural projects that enrich society. Intellectual property is key to ensuring that these initiatives grow safely and maintain their identity.”

Alan Mella, associate lawyer on the Intellectual Property team, added: “Antenna develops projects that connect art with communities. Ensuring the protection of its projects through the registration of its trademarks allows these ideas to consolidate and have a lasting impact on the culture of our country.”
