/ Alessandri in APEC IPEG Meeting and Presentations
March 6, 2019During the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) International Patent Experts Group (IPEG) meetings held in Santiago, Chile on February 26th, AIPLA participated in the Grace Period Roundtable panel sessions organized by the USPTO.
The panels included representatives from USPTO, JPO, IP Australia, Department of IP-Thailand, Chinese Taipei, FICPI and AIPLA.
Francesca Rodríguez Spinelli of Alessandri Attorneys at Law and member of the IP Practice in Latin America committee participated on a panel entitled: “How Patent Grace Period Works from the Perspective of Inventors, SMEs, Patent Counsel”. Ray Farrell of Carter, DeLuca & Farrell, LLP and of the Harmonization Committee was on a panel entitled: “Overview of International Substantive Patent Law Discussions”.
