/ Legal 500 2023 highlights Alessandri in six categories

Legal 500 Latin America 2023 was published and Alessandri is ranked in Data Privacy, Intellectual Property, Life Sciences, Corporate M&A, Litigation and Tax.

 

The Legal 500 rankings reflect detailed analysis of law firm submissions and thousands of interviews with private practice attorneys, conducted by its team of experienced investigators.

This year, Alessandri is highlighted in six categories:

The TMT and data protection team at Alessandri & Compañía Abogados traditionally acts for IT, entertainment and financial-service sector clients; but further to the pandemic, the group is increasingly active in health services, telemedicine and teleworking matters, along with the processing of employees’ health data, e-commerce and online education. Alessandri & Compañía Abogados’ practice is well known in the market for its IP portfolio work for food-processing company Agrosuper, as well as its ongoing representation of international chemical and pharmaceutical player Bayer-Monsanto; in addition to it strictly legal advisory, clients also benefit from the presence of engineers, chemists, biologists and architects at the firm. “Transmitting security and confidence at all times”, Alessandri & Compañía Abogados’ four-member litigation department is experienced in resolving civil and commercial disputes, particularly in relation to technology, capital markets, insurance, construction, transport, and manufacturing. Additionally, the group is active in IP conflict resolution, litigation over product liability, and defending administrative claims. The practice is led by corporate and litigation specialist Raúl Montero, whose ‘experience and practical knowledge are highly noteworthy’; while Luis Fuentes and Patricio Rámila are recently promoted senior associates, both of whom focus on civil and commercial litigation.
