/ Detection of counterfeit products: Alessandri trains the Metropolitan Customs Office

The aim of the workshop was to provide Metropolitan Customs officials with tools to identify counterfeit products and protect the intellectual property rights of our clients Netflix and Bobcat.

Eliseo Albornoz, a member of Alessandri’s Enforcement team, represented Netflix and Bobcat at an inter-agency workshop organized by the Regional Director of the Metropolitan Customs Office, Rodrigo Díaz, together with the National Intellectual Property Officer, Sandy Donoso. The event was also attended by other law firms specializing in this area.

During the training, Eliseo offered a theoretical session focused on the key elements for detecting counterfeit products and addressed legal and practical aspects relevant to customs work.

These training sessions reinforce Alessandri’s commitment to protecting intellectual property and collaborating with authorities in the fight against piracy.
