/ KKR Fund registers an investment fund in Chile

Alessandri Abogados advised on the formation and structuring of the fund called Picton – KKR Asia IV, registered in Chile. This investment fund of about $50 million serves as a subordinate fund for investment in the Kohlberg Kravis Roberts Fund (KKR Fund).

The main investment objective of the KKR Fund is to invest in securities related to leveraged acquisitions, acquisitions of companies made by its own administrators, creation of platforms sponsored by the general partner or any affiliate thereof, or in other investments to control or significantly influence growth capital investments and opportunistic capital investment.

Alessandri Abogados worked on drafting of complex fund documents that need to be in line with both Chile and US securities laws.
